Born in 1983 in Carini (PA). There three regions of his life:
Sicily, where he was
born, Tuscany, where he grew up professionally and Veneto, where he currently lives.
His three passions: dance, as a child; cooking, as a young man; painting, now as an
adult. The last one has become the most important since Giovanni has always wanted
to develop it and only now, thanks to his personality and the right training, he is
making it thrive.
He was an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry and his former career has
influenced his painting: the subjects, mostly figurative-abstract, are highlighted by
the use of texture colours and by the movements of spatula and brushes. He paints as
he cooks: not for the delight of the palate, but for the amazement of the soul.
Key element of his artistic research is the relationship with people. He collaborates
with other artists and participates in events which go beyond the purely pictorial
circuit, to contribute with his own works to reach deeper meanings and provide
alternative interpretations to everyday life.
